The Georgian House is a charming hotel located in the centre of London. Built in 1851, it is still run by the original family. This independent hotel offers a high standard of central London bed and breakfast accommodation, with an emphasis on comfort and warm service at a cheap and affordable price. The hotel, close to Victoria Station, is ideally situated for access to all of London, yet has the advantage of being just outside the congestion zone. All the main attractions of the city are within easy reach; a short walk to the King’s Road, the Chelsea Flower Show, and the Hard Rock Café. The hotel is near Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, and very convenient for shopping in Oxford Street or Knightsbridge and Harrods. The accommodation is provided in two buildings, with the main reception in St George’s Drive. There is a second small and pretty building, The Bower House in Cambridge Street adjacent, where the first class rooms are luxuriously furnished. The rooms are beautifully decorated in keeping with tradition, yet offer the warmth and comfort expected by the modern traveller. Nor do we neglect the breakfast aspect of your bed and breakfast accommodation. Your traditional English breakfast is cooked to order from top quality ingredients, including free range eggs from our country farm (season permitting), and sausages from the suppliers of our Royal family. The Georgian House Hotel has 53 rooms equipped with all modern comforts and facilities, yet retaining the original features and feel of the building. Our efficient and welcoming reception staff offer a wide range of services. There is an elegant reception room to relax or meet friends, and this is stocked with plentiful brochures and leaflets about what's on in and outside London, and how to get about. If you are travelling to London on business you may be interested in our meeting rooms. Our light and spacious deluxe rooms are beautifully decorated and fitted with top quality furnishings, and every convenience for modern travel. The well-equipped standard rooms provide all you need for a comfortable stay in London with excellent standards of service. We do have seven basic rooms, most of which are on the top floor of the hotel. The rooms here are full of character, most still have their enchanting fireplaces and sloping attic room ceilings. Some have terrific views over the london skyline. Our extensive and delicious full English breakfast is included in the price. The food and service are widely complimented for their superb quality.
