The Blenheim Lakeside Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa overlooking the boating lake in Sefton Park, the largest park in Liverpool. It is one of the original detached houses on the perimeter of the park where rich merchants and shipping magnets once lived in style. More modern history shows that 'The Blenheim' was in fact the family home of Stuart Sutcliffe in the sixties. His family continued to live here while he was on tour with the Beatles in Hamburg where he tragically died. The house was then allowed to fall into a state of some disrepair until being painstakingly restored by the present owners during the late eighties and opening as 'The Blenheim' in July 1990, and now after further renovation been renamed as 'The Blenheim Lakeside Hotel' The Blenheim Lakeside Hotel is now a small but homely hotel and we are sure you will receive a warm and pleasant welcome when staying with us.
