Holyrood apartHOTEL is a modern building offering 41 two bedroom apartments. The apartments are finished in a contemporary style, with clean uncluttered spaces, providing a self catering apartment at the top end of the market. Bedrooms have a personal workspace with DDI lines, modem access, and Wireless broadband through out the apartment (Charge applies). Hairdryers, Iron and Ironing board are in each apartment. Each apartment has a well appointed bathroom and shower room. Towels, and toiletries are included, each bathroom has heated towel rails, steam resistant mirrors and shaving mirror. All but 4 of the apartments have 2 bathrooms. The lounge offers the perfect environment to relax with your own entertainment system, comprising of TV/VCR and CD Sound System, a selection of CD's and Videos are available from Reception, for those quiet nights in. This area is complete with a dining area suitable for six. You will find the kitchen fully equipped with everything you would expect in modern kitchen - refrigerator, electric cooker/oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Tea and Coffee is supplied, as are Dishwasher tablets and washing powder.

Whilst all the action Edinburgh has to offer is so close, our apartments are not on a through fare Street, and we are in a very low foot traffic zone so you can enjoy some peace and quiet! Located in The Centre Of Edinburgh Just a short walk from us you find The Palace of Holyrood House and Our Dynamic Earth and at the top of the Royal Mile sits the famous Edinburgh Castle. Within a 5 minute walk along the Royal Mile there are a number of Ghost tours and under city walks. For those of you who appreciate the outdoors, Holyrood Park is within a 5 minute walk, as is the beginning of the walking track to Arthurs Seat where you can enjoy incredible views over the city. Restaurants and Bars in Edinburgh There are a host of Restaurants and Bars in the immediate area, you can stroll in any direction and be spoilt for choice whether you are looking for a fine dining experience, a Starbucks or a drop of Scotland’s finest! Shopping on Edinburgh Princes Street The main shopping area of Edinburgh is ‘Princes Street’. This is an easy 10 minute walk, or a few pounds in a Taxi. There is a small Supermarket, 100 metres from the apartHOTEL that is open from dusk till dawn! Route 1 Walking to HOLYROOD apartHOTEL from Waverley Train Station Exit via Market Street. Cross at pedestrian crossing directly outside Train Station, turn left and continue along Jeffrey Street until you meet The Royal Mile, turn left and continue down the Royal Mile approx 5 minutes, heading towards Holyrood Palace. On the right hand side you will see an archway called Bakehouse Close, walk through the close passing Architect and Design Scotland Office on your left you will see HOLYROOD apartHOTEL around the corner of this Close. Route 2 Driving to HOLYROOD apartHOTEL from the west, follow signs to city centre of Edinburgh Follow the signs to the West End of Princes Street - turn right up Lothian Road, pass through three sets of lights at fourth set turn left into Bread Street, and continue along this road and through the Grassmarket, road changes to Cowgate. Continue on this road until, name changes to Holyrood Road after St Mary Street Junction, continue down Holyrood Road turn left into Hammermen's Entry/Morgan Court which leads to HOLYROOD apartHOTEL Car Park, press buzzer on right hand side and Reception will open gates for you. Route 3 Driving to HOLYROOD apartHOTEL from the South Follow the signs to city centre of Edinburgh, driving down you will pass The Commonwealth Swimming Pool on your right hand side, turn right at next set of lights into Holyrood Park. Take first turning at mini roundabout, take first turning at next roundabout through Holyrood Gait, turn left at the intersection onto Holyrood Road take first Right Hand turn (between ‘Pizza Express and ‘Bean Scene’) onto Gentles Entry for Reception, or the Second opening on right hand side (Next to ‘Nisa Today’ convenience store) to drive straight to the car park. Press the intercom at the Silver car park gates to announce your arrival to Reception.
