Established in 1963, Prainha slowly evolved from a little whitewashed summer cottage to a 45 room resort with cottages and elegant rooms. The name "PRAINA" derives from the Portuguese word "little beach". Prainha is set in a tranquil palmgrove on the beachfronts.

Facilities:
The original timber ceilinged cottages are just 10 meters from the beach. These four units are housed in two cottages each with their own garden.Each has a living room and bedroom furnished with antique Goan furniture. Rising from the natural contours of the landscape, these rooms in terraced cottages have an airy, spacious feeling. French windows open onto balconies or terraces overlooking the sea. DOUBLE ROOMS Located on two floors, these rooms are popular for their tranquility and treetop views. All have large windows, with balconies in most cases. The Palm Grove - Restaurant and Bar Dining alfresco, under the palm trees has been a favourite pastime here for years. We have selected some of the best examples of the regional and continental cuisine, which will be individually prepared on order.
